“Together with a girlfriend of mine I developed naturally produced cosmetics that are safe for people, animals and the environment. We started a small business and our products have become enormously popular. Our company now has outlets in a number of countries and the trademark has become a household name."
Just like a Benelux registration, an International registration is valid for a period of 10 years, after which it can continue to be renewed at 10-year intervals.
The renewal form can be submitted directly to the WIPO.
You can also submit your renewal form to the BOIP. However, we must receive it at least 10 days prior to the expiry date, otherwise we cannot guarantee that the WIPO will receive it on time. The BOIP will charge an administration fee of EUR 80 for processing your renewal, payable directly to the BOIP. There are also charges for the renewal itself, which you can transfer either to the BOIP’s account (in EUR) or to the WIPO’s account (in CHF). If you transfer the amount to the BOIP, we will of course make sure that it reaches the WIPO.
